This is a series of infographics I found made by an Adobe owned market research company and some of the info blew my mind! Its actually really interesting and there isn’t much out there that covers this area of difference but it’s important when trying to figure ways of getting both kids and parents engaged. The widening gap in tech proficiency – particularly when it comes to things like social media – is getting in the way of parents and kids learning together, understanding each others lives and communicating about some areas of life. This will only get worse as time goes on. the internet is still kinda like the Wild West to many parents and they have no idea how to help their kids navigate it. Now I’m not interested in trying to deal with filters or parental controls myself but I am interested in trying to bridge that gap with art and making and shared learning.
