This was a good conference actually, although it started a bit dry and I had to record the end because I had to pick up my kids from school so the last hour of it I only have on audio, it was actually pretty informative. I’ll do a deep dive on some of the speakers, the guy form the Global Governance Institute talked about an interesting research study and interventions that I want to look at further. Also I was really bolstered listening to the woman who from Ofsted and talked about the differences between curriculum and pedagogy as well as explaining what the new frameworks for assessing art and design in schools were. They were reassuring, especially in light of my last group project that was all about the importance of creativity and advocating for its vital input into school curriculums.
