Muva Shoulda Woulda Coulda?

The public online instagram platform for the project is a double edged sword. On the one hand it is affording me lots of opportunities for connection with stakeholders and potential artists and helping get clearer about the intention of the project and areas of focus as well and having an online visual explanation of what I am doing with which to direct people when they want to know more. It sucks but its echoes of the whole falling tree in the woods where if it’s not on online did it really happen at all!? But documentation is also a good way to keep yourself accountable and this blog alone is a good example of that in action.

On the other hand the upkeep of the account is immense. I have been slowing posting and documenting all the project has done and covered so far and that takes time. I’m still not totally caught up to where I am in real life but will get there slowly but surely, there actually sit really a huge rush as long I can manage to keep it ticking over. I am not interested at this point in time in pouring all my energy into building a huge following on instagram as that isn’t the point (it’s more like network building and documentation at this stage) and this at least frees me to not worry about things like engagement and keeping up with algorithms on social media. I have been teaching myself to use content creation software to plan and auto-schedule as much of this as possible to save time and focus on more important things.
