Collage Workshop With Unattainable Blonde

I have an intervention planned with young artist Gem Allison who works as Unattainable Blonde. She works with collage and focuses on themes like the commodification of feminism and the performance of femininity. On November 10th at Metropolis Gallery we’ll run a workshop for the public where people have fun making art with collage materials and facilitating a conversation centred around the relationships between porn and bodies. Examining depictions and inevitable internalisations and sharing in a safe and creative space.

I am thinking about how best to start documenting and collating the workshop and the responses from the participants. I want to come up with something creative, somewhat visually interesting but also very accessible and not too distracting to what’s happening in the moment. At the moment this still involves post-it’s somehow.
