No news there then. If the people in charge can’t even understand the definition of misogyny then where the fuck do we begin!!???! This is “whataboutism” at it’s peak, you literally can’t say the true fact that men predominantly perpetrate violence against women and other men without having to essentially caveat it with “women do bad stuff sometimes too”. It also shows that within the current (not robust enough yet) discourse around making misogyny a hate crime they couldn’t even be bothered to try and understand what that meant at a basic level.
